405-514-9990 info@cwjcofOKC.org“CWJC provides free GED and Job Training Classes to the women of Oklahoma helping them to transform their lives, their families, and their communities.”
To prepare women for a sober future in the context of a faith-based, woman- to-woman mentoring program.
Discover, define, and demonstrate the value of every individual; every soul matters to God.
We are a transition program with a 9-month commitment. Each participant/resident lives at the house and pays rent. The 2-week academic program is also offered to women of the community to participate in our classes as scheduled for the cost of the written curriculum ($100 for books and workbooks and meals). We will consider scholarshipping on an application/interview basis.

Helping complete Goals
One of the goals that Andi (Andrea) set for herself was to obtain her GED. She has been taking GED preparation courses during her time with Christian Women’s Job Corps and the Haven, Andi has completed two of the four sections toward completing her GED.
It is her goal to complete all four, positioning herself for opportunity for advancement in her career.
Please pray with Andi as she works toward completing this goal. She has now purchased a car in preparation for her future.
One More Goal Achieved!
Christian Women’s Job Corps assists our participants to achieve goals as they move forward.
One of Sherri's ’ goals was to purchase her own automobile. That goal has been achieved.
Last month Sherri took the first step toward this goal by filing her 2022 taxes and this week received her tax refund. Receipt of that check this week coincided with the opportunity to purchase a low mileage used vehicle for close to the dollar amount of that tax refund check! Join us in celebrating Sherri’s continued achievement.
Join us in celebrating Gina’s continued achievement
Gina graduated CWJC in March of 2016. Released in 2017 and immediately trained and began her career as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist for OK DMHSAS at the Oklahoma City Crisis Center. She received the 2019 “Employee of the Year” from the Crisis Center. She was the recipient of the 2020 Sybil Bentley Dove Scholarship given by the National WMU, nominated by our Faith Crossing Baptist Church/PTI location. Since that time she began a career with TEEM (The Education and Employment Ministry in Oklahoma City), first as a volunteer and later employed by TEEM. She has advanced with TEEM and is now serving as a Re-entry Case Manager. She was chosen to sit on a panel by the Justice Lab of Columbia University on “Re-imagining the Criminal Justice System in Oklahoma. Kris Steele, Executive Director of TEEM, describes her as an “asset to TEEM and to the State of Oklahoma.”

We are open to all women returning to the workforce but do give preference to women who have been involved with the justice system as we are seeking to reduce recidivism through mentoring and work.
